A Cauldron Full of Trouble

Well a year has gone by since I last tortured poor Bast, but this holiday brings yet another chance to put him in strange and awkward situations! Yay!

This years entry for the Dreamkeepers Halloween contest is inspired by the witches of Macbeth, who have always been a bit of a favorite of mine.

Double, double toil and trouble
Fire burn, and caldron bubble.
Fillet of a fenny snake,
In the caldron boil and bake.
Eye of newt, and toe of frog,
Wool of bat, and tongue of dog,
Adder's fork, and blind-worm's sting,
Lizard's leg, and owlet's wing.
For a charm of powerful trouble,
Like a hell-broth boil and bubble.
Double, double toil and trouble
Fire burn, and caldron bubble.


Here, Lilith, Mace and Namah, playing the part of the witches, have taken Bast prisoner and are no doubt brewing up something nasty for him, but fun for them! But what's a Halloween without torturing one of my favorite characters? *hugs Bast*
