Artist's Comments

Pinky St. is a series of small figurines from Japan that can be taken apart to mix and match various outfits and hairstyles. [Link]

It has become popular to make mods of existing Pinkies by repainting pieces to make brand new looks and characters. Some people take it beyond just simple modding to make complete customs, which is what I've done here...

I started by making molds of the pieces I wanted to use (the legs, torso, head and hair), then filled the molds to get the actual parts. Hurray for taking a class in 3d art while I was in school, it helped a lot during this process!

Once the pieces were dry, I sanded them and put them together to make the basic model. Using a variety of clays and epoxys, along with other material, I filled out the figure into the character I wanted.

Cardcaptors, a mystic adventure! Cardcaptors, a quest for all time...

Oh, wait, I mean...

Nice to meet you, good to see you, kitto!

Many thanks to :iconmondu: for allowing me use of his recreated version of it so I didn't have to draw it out myself!

If you are interested in commissioning me for your own Pinky custom, please get in touch with me via email. Please keep in mind that due to the complicated process and time it takes, that these will run no less than $50 per figure. Prices based on level of difficulty.

(They don't have to be related to games or anything, they can be your own creations too!)

^___^ now thats a lovely angle for the doll

:giggle: and I love how you used the turkey as a background, it adds a sweet effect on the shot

Haha, turkey??

I actually just used a combination of towels and pillowcases for the backgrounds. I don't have any sort of photo-taking studio, though I would loooove one for things like this!

Hahahaha!!! That's too funny. I had to go back and actually look at the pic, thinking maybe it was one of the outside pictures and something weird got in the background. *giggles*

I never thought about it before, but now I'm curious. Do you have someone translate your comments and stuff, or just words that you don't know?

^___^ well my English is good enough, and I rarely ask for translation....=_= but next time I'll use a program (WordWeb) to translate and not humans who gives me wrong words
